An exceptional wine with fresh red fruits along with hints of herbs are balanced by fine acidity on the long palate.
The harvested fruit was pressed to seasoned oak barrels for fermentation over a 4 week period. The ferments were carried out by a combination of wild and inoculated yeasts to help provide complexity and improve texture.
The wine was subsequently aged on lees until blending and filtration prior to bottling in August 2024
Light to medium red with lovely brightness. Shows with lifted aromas of raspberry and cherry combined with spice notes. There is a lovely concentration of flavours. Fresh red fruits along with hints of herbs are balanced by fine acidity on the long palate.
